iiNet are continuing to expand their copper network even with the NBN network looming. CEO Michael Malone said ‘‘[Without] a clear plan for where NBN Co is going and on what dates, we are just going to work on the basis that wherever we have sufficient number of customers and access to backhaul, we will be lighting up [networks],’’.
So even if NBN has not arrived in your area there may be opportunities to get an improved connection.
